Annapolis!

Wednesday was the first day of Andy's Thanksgiving break but Isaac & Lexi were still in school so we took advantage and went somewhere we've been wanting to explore for a while.

The Millers piled in our car and we caravaned with the Blooms down to Maryland's capitol. This here is the state building. Apparently it is the "oldest continuously functioning legislative house in the United States". I learned that from Lori's blog. Ü

Love these people!

Annapolis is a beautiful city. It has a such cozy atmosphere about it. Located right off the Chesapeake, it's fun to walk along the harbor and check out all the cute shops and architecture.

It's also home of the Naval Academy so there were soldiers walking around everywhere.

We could've stayed all day but offspring #1 & 2 were waiting to be picked up from school so we had to get going. It was a marvelous day though and a great way to kick start a long holiday break.

IT was fun...and reminded me that we need to cram in as much as possible in these last 6 (less than) months.

SO lets start thinking of where we want to go for Spring Break...Myrtle Beach? Im all in.
