Wildlife sightings

We saw lots of wildlife on our outings with Papa and Grandma


We found this cute little fella on our Sunday evening walking trail. It's right by our house and runs parallel to a cute little river. It's our favorite place because we always find all kinds of little critters there. Toads, salamanders, crayfish, snakes, deer, etc. We brought this turtle home with the intent to keep him as a pet but when Andy looked him up online and found out he was an endangered box turtle, we took him back to his home. Maybe we'll see him on our walk next Sunday :)



We took Papa and Grandma back up to Cascade Falls with us and that's where we found this big guy.



And for the record, he didn't turn into a prince



We also caught this disgusting eel! It secreted this nasty smell which was so potent (have I mentioned I hate that word?) we had to get rid of that net. Gag.
